Help: Weekdays Scroller

Terminology

The Weekdays Scroller is the little list of links just above your task list that allows you to navigate through the days to view the tasklists for them. When you click on them your page is not refreshed. Instead the tasklist for the clicked day is fetched in the background. Just give it a couple seconds to process.

In which order are the days displayed?

It will always show yesterday first. So that today is always the second day from the left. This allows you to go to yesterday quickly if there are some tasks to reschedule, etc.

Why are some of the days in the weekdays scroller underlined?

Days that are underlined indicate that tasks are scheduled for them already. If you hover over an underlined day with your mouse, a tooltip will pop up telling you how many tasks are scheduled for that day, including some more information. Like how many hours are scheduled and how many are already completed.

What are the red arrows for?

The red arrows, as you can guess, are for navigating through the weeks. If you simply click on one of the arrows, a datepicker will popup that allows you to navigate to a specific day. If you hold the alt key on your keyboard while clicking, you will navigate to the next (right arrow) or previous (left arrow) week without a datepicker showing up.

As of now, the days in the weekdays-scroller do not update when you navigate through the days with the red arrows. Why? Because we thought most of the time you quickly jump to a day in the future to check out the tasks there and do not do anything fancy there. Like navigating through that future day's week or so. If think this approach is wrong, please email us.
